Pearson’s has become one of my go-to spots in Rochester. What started as a quick coffee stop for meetings with out-of-town clients quickly turned into a regular breakfast and lunch destination. The food quality honestly surprised me in the best way — consistently fresh, flavorful, and way beyond your typical coffee shop fare. The vibe is always on point, the staff is friendly and efficient, and somehow there’s always a smooth flow without feeling overcrowded or chaotic. Quick turnaround without sacrificing quality. That’s rare. Bonus points for the merch too — clean branding and actually stuff you’d want to wear. Pearson’s just gets it. Highly recommend whether you’re grabbing a coffee, meeting a client, or settling in for a solid meal.

Very fast service and good drinks. The menu has a selection of specialty coffees and pastries, of which we tried the carrot cake cookie and the tiramisu coffee. We will be back to try more!

Good food, great service, very clean. The new outdoor patio is wonderful. However, both times that I’ve been in, they have the worst music blaring through the speakers. It’s an alternative punk station that definitely doesn’t say “chill coffee shop vibes.” The last time I was there, there was a big group having a business meeting, an elderly couple having coffee, and a mom with a baby and we were all talking about what a weird choice the music was and how it made us all want to hurry up and leave. Maybe pick something that’s more in line with a a relaxed coffee shop and a diverse customer group and adjust the volume of the music.

My parents came to visit. I'm not a coffee person but all my colleagues and friends were recommending Pearson's so I brought my folks here and they LOVED it! They ordered the Greek yogurt, bagel + sundried tomato cream cheese, cappuccino, and drip coffee. Staff were very helpful explaining everything. Very satisfied! Will return!

Food menu very nice with good breakfast sandwiches. Had two different oat milk lattes today and both tasted watery. Almost like large americanos with only one shot. Disappointed as the base flavor of both (sesame and sweet potato from fall menu) had nice subtle not too sweet flavors. Have had espresso drinks here in past and they were fine. Pretty similar to a Starbucks. I will give another try but will likely just focus on food as today’s coffee was a 2 at best. Nice place to sit with plenty of spots to use a laptop. A little loud but not that bad.
